Super Smash Bros Ultimate Review

As I acquired my Nintendo Switch, I also looked for a game that can be played whenever I finished RPGs/Adventure games.

I researched, asked questions, and watched videos until I stumbled upon the best-selling fighting game of all time as of December of 2019.

If you are familiar with the mechanics of the Super Smash Bros fighting series, this game might fit you.

A one-on-one battle with CPU.

But if you are unfamiliar with the game, there are three victory conditions:

Timed: Eliminate as many as you can, the player with most eliminations wins.
Stock: Set maximum eliminations, the first one to reach a certain number of elimination wins.
Stamina: First one to reduce opponent’s health to zero wins.

You can acquire weapons or items in the game (Poke Balls, Mario powerups, weapons, etc.) to use against your opponents.

Not sure about the Spirits tho, which is a new mechanic in the game but as you fight against human or computer opponents, you earn new spirits.

Spirits are collectible trophies that can be used to power up a fighter with unique abilities.

World of Light is a single-player adventure mode where you explore captured fighters because in the story, evil entity named Galeem wiped out nearly all fighters and imprisoned them.

Currently, Super Smash Bros Ultimate have 80 playable characters (including DLC).
