Reasons why I quit Gacha games

To start it off, A gacha game are mostly free-to-play games where in a character, equipment, or any in-game items can be acquired via summon or the likes, just like a gashapon machine where you get random capsuled items by just inserting a coin.

The soplak moniker was born on 2014, and during that time, one of the games I played was Brave Frontier Global, a gacha game.

I noticed that as time goes by, I feel the urge to buy in-game items such as currencies or summon tickets.

I also noticed that by playing those games is also limited to the available energy (some stages have a required amount of energy to be played).

To be honest, I spent thousands of pesos for gems and tickets just to acquire some of my prospect units (but unfortunately, I did not get all of them).

On the mid-2017, I started playing Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. Because it is under the Final Fantasy series of games, I feel so relieved and secured just because this game is also backed by Square Enix.

I also spent my time and some money for this game but as of the 4th quarter of 2019, I slowly started to play Nintendo Switch games while my Gacha games activity has been reduced to logging in for rewards.

But on 28th of January 2020, I just made my decision to uninstall all my Gacha games from my phone to give way to other apps.

For now, I am focusing on First person shooters, Japanese role playing games, fighting games, and hack and slash games.
